About the Hotel The Courtyard by Marriott Kingston is a 128-room hotel, owned and operated by Easton's Group of Hotels. Located just off the 401 hwy, it features 2 meeting rooms, the Bistro restaurant and a heated pool with a 100-ft water slide.

Courtyard by Marriott Kingston is looking for someone who is friendly and hospitality-focused to join our team as a Maintenance Supervisor! What will you be doing?

- Supervises and assists engineering staff in the maintenance and repair of plumbing, hotel rooms, A/C and heating,



ice machine, swimming pools, lighting, kitchen equipment, refrigeration, laundry, emergency generators, switch rooms, etc.
- Ensures all maintenance and repairs are completed on a timely basis and according to specifications.
- Follows company policies and procedures and can effectively communicate them to subordinates.
- Ensure that all employees use or wear any equipment, protective devices or clothing required under the Health & Safety Program.
- Assists the Chief Engineer in administering and documenting equipment preventative maintenance and guest room preventative maintenance.

What are the requirements for this role?

- Some college or advanced vocational training plus two years of experience in general building maintenance and/or construction, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Hotel maintenance and supervisory experience preferred.
- Basic reading, writing and math abilities.
- Problem-solving, reasoning, inspiring, organizational and training abilities are used often.
- This job requires the ability to perform the following:
- Carrying, lifting, pushing and/or pulling items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Frequently standing up and moving about the facility
- Frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility.
- Frequently bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and crawling
- May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
