Maintenance Attendant

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and customer-focused Maintenance Attendant to perform general maintenance duties throughout the resort property. The successful candidate will be physically fit, able to work independently as well as follow direction, and committed to maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our owners and guests.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform general maintenance and repair work throughout the resort.
- Complete basic maintenance and repairs within guest units, including minor:
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- Carpentry
- Drywall and paint touch-ups
- Inspect, maintain, and ensure the upkeep of 28 guest rooms and selected common areas. (The majority of exterior grounds maintenance is managed by the Strata.)
- Assist with waste removal and disposal.
- Perform painting and other maintenance projects as assigned.
- Maintain the swimming pool and hot tub, including routine testing and treatment.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and ensure work is completed efficiently.
- Provide courteous and qualified customer service to owners, guests, and staff.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications




- Previous experience in general building maintenance or a similar role is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
- Pool and hot tub maintenance experience is an asset.
- Pool Operator Certification is an asset; training will be provided to the right candidate if certification is not already held.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Physically capable of lifting, carrying, climbing ladders, and performing manual labour.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and follow instructions.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and flexible to work weekends or holidays as required.

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
