Further, as internal investments will constitute the majority of the fund’s AUM, the ability to source, assess and execute co-investments will be a critical function of the position.

The mandate anticipates global sourcing with most investments expected in the US and Europe.DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTIONThe Capital Markets & Credit Investments (CM&CI;) department manages C$165B of capital markets and credit investments (56% of total net AUM of BCI). The department invests globally across Credit, Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and Absolute Return Strategies, with investment teams located in BCI's global offices in Victoria, Vancouver, Current York, and London. BC.SALARY RANGEThe annualized base salary range for this Victoria-based role is CAD $240,000 - $300,000.BCI offers a competitive total rewards package, including a performance-based incentive plan, comprehensive health & dental benefits, a defined benefit pension plan, and paid time off.

We pay our people competitively in the markets in which we operate and with consideration for internal equity and job structure. The base salary will consider factors such as the individual's skill set, experience, and internal equity. We aim for actual pay to be around the market median for expected performance and the upper quartile for excellent performance.
