Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Manufacturing/Canning Line Supervisor to oversee daily production operations, lead a small production team, and ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing of our products. This is a hands-on working-supervisor position responsible for managing internal production requests, ensuring the facility, equipment, materials, and team are organized and ready for production each day.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills and is flexible, dependable, and comfortable taking on a variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced startup environment. This role offers the opportunity to help shape production processes, take on increasing responsibility, and grow alongside an expanding operation.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing operations to fulfill internal production requests and meet quality standards.
- Lead, coach, and provide day-to-day direction to the production team while fostering a positive and accountable work environment.
- Ensure the facility, equipment, production materials, packaging, and work areas are organized and ready for production each day.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or purchasing needs to management.
- Monitor productivity workflow, equipment performance, product quality, waste, and downtime to maximize efficiency; perform basic troubleshooting and escalate larger issues as needed.
- Ensure production quantities, packaging, labels,



lot codes, product specifications, and internal production requirements are followed accurately.
- Maintain accurate production, sanitation, quality-control, and traceability records while ensuring compliance with food-safety and company requirements.
- Communicate daily production progress, shortages, delays, equipment issues, and quality concerns to the Operations Director.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and production-ready facility and support related warehouse, receiving, shipping, and inventory tasks as required
- Identify practical improvements to production workflow, equipment operation, and facility organization.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in manufacturing, food production, business, or a related field is an asset.
- 3+ years of experience in food, beverage, packaging, or a comparable manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience leading or providing day-to-day direction to a team of 5 or more employees.
- Strong organizational, time-management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, food safety, sanitation, quality-control procedures, and production documentation is preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting experience.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace.
- Ability to work versatile shifts as required.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
