We are looking for experienced masons to join our team for commercial masonry projects in Calgary.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with both concrete block and brick masonry and is able to complete quality work efficiently while maintaining proper alignment, levels, and finishes.

Compensation

- Hourly rate: $50–$60/hour, based on experience and skill level.
- Piecework option available at $5.00 per 8-inch block for experienced and productive masons.

Responsibilities

- Install concrete masonry units (CMU), brick, and other masonry materials.
- Work from drawings, layouts, and project requirements.
- Maintain quality workmanship and productivity standards.
- Coordinate with the masonry crew and other trades on active commercial job sites.
- Complete assigned work safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a commercial mason.




- Solid skills in both block laying and brick masonry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a crew.
- Good understanding of masonry layout, levels, and construction details.
- CSTS and Fall Protection certificates are preferred. Candidates without these certificates must be willing to obtain them before starting.
