Duties

- Select, cut, trim, and prepare different types of meat according to specifications and safety standards
- Operate meat processing equipment with precision and care to ensure quality cuts
- Package meat products efficiently while maintaining proper labeling and food safety practices
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, tools, and equipment in compliance with health regulations
- Assist customers by providing product information, answering questions, and offering recommendations on meat selections
- Monitor inventory levels, restock displays, and ensure proper storage of meat products




- Follow all food handling procedures to uphold safety standards and prevent contamination

Requirements

- Previous experience in food preparation, butchery, or the food industry is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques and food safety regulations
- Ability to handle knives and cutting tools safely and efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Familiarity with packaging processes for retail meat products
- Kitchen experience or related food handling background is advantageous
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding environment
