Duties

- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service at the front desk
- Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls accurately and professionally
- Schedule appointments efficiently using electronic medical records systems , Telus CHR
- Verify patient insurance information and update records in electronic medical records systems
- Prepare and organize patient charts, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate
- Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, including collecting co-pays and updating patient information
- Support clinical staff by managing correspondence, faxing,



scanning documents, and maintaining office supplies

Skills

- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems.
- Robust knowledge of medical terminology to accurately interpret and communicate health information
- Experience as a dental receptionist or in a dental office environment is highly desirable
- Prior medical or dental office experience demonstrating familiarity with front desk operations
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient files and schedules
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently while maintaining professionalism
- Effective communication skills to interact clearly with patients, providers, and team members
