We are seeking a Part-Time Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join our team to cover one year Maternity Leave. The ideal candidate will provide support in a medical office setting, ensuring smooth operations and excellent patient care.
We are looking for an MOA to work 3 days a week between Monday to Wednesday or Tuesday to Thursday if that works better for you. Start date will be August 17th or August 24th.
It would be great if you are open to being on-call on your off days during the week as well.
Hours are 8:30am-4:30pm
Duties
- Greet and check-in patients upon their arrival
- Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar
- Assist with baby, child and adult measurements
- Maintain electronic health records accurately. We are using Accuro.
- Handle phone calls and inquiries in a professional manner
- Support physicians with administrative tasks as needed
-Prep exam rooms for physicians and patients -Assist with Pap exams if needed
-Stock and check clinic supplies and inventory
And not limit to other duties as they come along
Experience Required Skills
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and medical office software. We use Accuro and will provide training with Accuro software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a quick-paced environment
Must Have:
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
