Men In Trucks Moving Inc. is hiring Movers in Ottawa - full-time, part-time and casual/on-call.
We are a busy Ottawa moving and logistics company. We have been moving Ottawa families and businesses since 2010, and we run residential, commercial, long-distance and white-glove delivery work out of our 10,000 sq ft warehouse. Work is steady and year-round, with plenty of overtime through the busy season. We hire on an ongoing basis, so apply any time.
No moving experience? We provide paid training for the right people.
What you will be doing
- Load and unload furniture, appliances, boxes and equipment
- Wrap, pad and protect items so they arrive in the same condition they left in
- Disassemble and reassemble furniture
- Keep the truck packed tight and organized
- Work as part of a 2 to 4 person crew and represent the company well on site
- Help out at the warehouse between jobs
What we are looking for
- Physically fit - you will be lifting, carrying and climbing stairs all day
- Reliable and on time. This is the single biggest thing we care about.
- Positive attitude with customers - you are working in someone's home
- Able to work with a team and take direction
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
Nice to have
- Previous moving, delivery, warehouse or construction experience
- Experience with pianos, safes, appliances or specialty items
- Valid Ontario driver's licence
- Forklift certification

- $22 to $30 per hour depending on experience, plus tips
