Job Title: Sr. BSA/NetSuite Administrator
Work Location : Vancouver, BC (Permanent work from home accepted from anywhere in Canada)
3 Months Contract Only
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Leadership:
- Serve as the go-to subject matter expert and product owner for the NetSuite platform
- Lead project coordination and delivery by managing timelines, milestones, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional team activities
- Drive the NetSuite roadmap by identifying optimization opportunities, recommending best practices, and challenging the status quo
- Manage and prioritize competing business demands while maintaining focus on strategic initiatives
Functional Expertise & Support:
- Provide deep expertise across NetSuite finance modules including: customized envormnet, fixed assets, ARM (Advanced Revenue Management), AR, AP, revenue recognition, general ledger, planning, audit, and reporting
- Work closely with functional leaders to understand business challenges and recommend optimal solutions
- Serve as the primary support resource for end-users, providing guidance, training, and troubleshooting across departments
- Manage support requests through ticket systems with clear prioritization and follow-through
- Provide ticket and triage support on as-needed basis
- Mentor and guide support team members on technical and functional challenges
Technical Administration & Operations:
- Oversee NetSuite configuration, customization, and ongoing system administration
- Manage and support customizations including: custom objects, integrations, workflow rules, approval processes, page layouts, security, validation rules, custom buttons/links, and custom fields
- Support data import processes, migrations, and bi-annual platform update
- Customize, maintain, and optimize reports, dashboards, workbooks,
and saved searches
- Coordinate testing, planning, and execution of system changes and updates
- Perform day-to-day operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities
Communication & Stakeholder Management:
- Communicate clearly and effectively with diverse audiences—tailoring technical complexity, tone, and content based on stakeholder needs
- Provide executive-level summaries for leadership and detailed technical guidance for implementation teams
- Document processes, decisions, and lessons learned to support organizational knowledge
- Act as a bridge between business users and technical resources, translating requirements and solutions
Technical & Analytical Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities in complex, multi-stakeholder environments - 10-15 years
- Hands-on knowledge of NetSuite modules and features: custom workflows, custom records, role management, integration setup, dashboards, searches/reports, SuiteAnalytics, SuiteFlow - 10-15 years
- Ability to learn and support customized billing, contracts, fixed assets, and customer portal implementations
- Comfortable working with technical teams and understanding system architecture and data flows - 10-15 years
- Ability to work in a support managing criticality, triaging, and prioritizing incidents and tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- NetSuite Administrator Certification or relevant NetSuite certifications
- Technical development skills (JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL) or exposure to custom development
- Experience with AI-assisted tools or emerging technologies in ERP environments
- Background in financial operations, accounting, or finance systems
- Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional projects
- Degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or related field
