Hiring: Node.js Backend Developer | Toronto, ON (4 Days Onsite) Location: Toronto, ON (4 days/week onsite – non-negotiable)

Interview: Face-to-Face (L1 and/or Client Interview) ? Key Responsibilities

Develop backend applications using Node.js and TypeScript

Design and build REST APIs and Microservices

Work closely with Architects, Product Owners, QA, and DevOps teams

Ensure application security, scalability, and performance

Participate in code reviews, CI/CD, testing, and production support ? Required Skills

✅ 5+ years of software development experience

✅ Node.js, TypeScript, Express.js/NestJS

✅ REST APIs & Microservices Architecture

✅ SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB





✅ AWS, Azure, or GCP

✅ Docker, Kubernetes, Git & CI/CD

✅ Strong secure coding and software engineering practices

✅ Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar to improve development productivity ⭐ Preferred

Banking or Financial Services experience

Kafka & Event-Driven Architecture

Agile/Scrum

React/Angular exposure
