Saint Laurent Medical Centre is seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Part time Medical Receptionist to join our team.

Duties

- Greet patients warmly and efficiently check them in and out using electronic medical records systems
- Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and relay messages accurately
- Verify patient information, insurance details, and update records promptly within Epic or similar platforms
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence to keep the front office organized
- Assist with patient intake procedures, including collecting medical history and explaining office policies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area to promote a professional environment
- Support the team by coordinating appointment reminders and follow-up communications

Requirements

- Previous experience in a medical office setting is highly preferred




- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems such OSCAR
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately communicate with patients and staff
- Office experience with multi-line phone systems and front desk operations required
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and confidentiality
- Ability to handle high-volume phone calls efficiently while maintaining professionalism
- Prior experience working in medical offices is a plus but not mandatory
- Bilingual (English/French) preferred
