Your role will be to analyze our clients' complex HR challenges, propose tailored interventions, and assign our experts to them (change management projects, pay equity, restructuring, etc.). Much like financial consulting projects, you will manage high-level HR projects and mandates.
Compensation
- Base Salary: Competitive (adjusted based on senior experience).
- Bonus/Commission Potential: Highly lucrative quarterly commission plan.
Your Daily Life and Responsibilities: 1.
Consultative
Approach & Client-Facing (5 visits/week) - Strategic HR Diagnostics: Meet with high-level decision-makers (VPs, HR Directors) to dive deep into their workforce challenges (high turnover, leadership training needs, salary structure overhauls).
- Proposing Solutions: Act as a pure advisor during meetings—asking the right questions, speaking your clients' language, analyzing their needs, and pitching a tailored HR services package.
- Trusted Placements: Unlike volume recruitment, you will select and present a single expert talent to the client, standing as a guarantor of their ability to solve the issue.
- Managing and Developing a High-Profile Portfolio (25 Accounts) - Maximizing Existing Accounts: Take charge of a portfolio of 25 major strategic accounts already signed by Randstad.
Your role is to penetrate these accounts and develop our exclusive HR consulting offerings within them.
- Internal Synergy: Work closely with the Client Strategic Executives already assigned to these major accounts to uncover recent HR business opportunities.
- Networking & Attracting High-Level Consultants - Expert Pool Management: Attract and qualify senior HR professionals who look to execute high-impact contract mandates with us.
- Bilingualism: Manage consulting needs on a national scale (conducting intake meetings and project matching in English for clients outside of Quebec).
The Ideal Profile
- Mandatory HR Background: Solid practical experience in Human Resources, ideally acquired as a generalist, HR Business Partner (HRBP) within a corporation, or within a professional services/consulting firm.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field. Holding a CHRP / CRHA / CRIA designation is a highly valuable asset.
- Commercial Mindset: A genuine desire to blend your HR expertise with business development and long-term client partnerships.
- Executive Presence: A natural ability to connect, converse, and build credibility with HR directors and executive-level leadership.
