Performance Tester

Toronto, Ontario, Canada - Hybrid

Contract

Key Responsibilities

- Strategy & Execution: Define performance testing strategies, workload models, and execute test scripts using LoadRunner and NeoLoad.
- Scripting: Write and maintain custom test scripts in C or JavaScript.
- Bottleneck Analysis: Utilize APM tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk) to monitor performance metrics and identify root-cause issues.
- Agile Integration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional Scrum teams to bake performance testing into the CI/CD development lifecycle.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Establish governance standards and mentor junior performance testers.

Mandatory Requirements

- Proven hands-on experience with LoadRunner and NeoLoad.




- Robust proficiency in C or JavaScript for custom script parameterization and correlation.
- Experience with monitoring and log analysis tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or Splunk).
- In-depth understanding of the end-to-end Performance Testing Lifecycle (Load, Stress, Endurance, Spike).
- Experience working in fast-paced Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred / Bonus Skill (Critical)

- NFV (Network Functions Virtualization): Strong preference given to candidates with NFV or telecom/virtual network testing experience.
