Job Summary

New United Innovation is seeking an experienced Vice President of Pharmaceutical Operations to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our pharmaceutical business operations.

The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry, including senior leadership responsibility. This individual will oversee operational strategy, regulatory compliance, manufacturing, quality systems, supply chain management, product development, and cross-functional execution.

The successful candidate must be capable of building scalable systems, leading multidisciplinary teams, managing complex pharmaceutical programs, and supporting the company’s long-term growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute the company’s pharmaceutical operations strategy.
- Lead pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality assurance, quality control, supply chain, and operational planning.
- Establish scalable operational processes, policies, SOPs, KPIs, and management systems.
- Ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, GCP, GLP, DEA, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Oversee product development, technology transfer, clinical supply, commercial manufacturing, and product launch readiness.
- Manage relationships with contract manufacturers, laboratories, suppliers, distributors, and strategic partners.
- Work closely with regulatory, clinical, research and development, finance, legal, and commercial teams.
- Develop operating budgets, forecasts, capital plans, and cost-control strategies.
- Identify operational risks and implement effective mitigation and business continuity plans.
- Improve production efficiency, product quality, delivery performance, and operating margins.
- Recruit, develop,



and lead high-performing pharmaceutical operations teams.
- Present operational plans, performance reports, risks, and recommendations to the CEO and executive leadership team.
- Support due diligence, fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and potential public-market preparation.
- Maintain high standards of ethics, patient safety, product quality, confidentiality, and regulatory integrity.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
- Advanced degree such as PharmD, PhD, MBA, or master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 15 years of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry experience.
- At least 7 years of senior leadership or executive management experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading pharmaceutical operations, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, or product development.
- Strong knowledge of FDA regulations and current Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Experience developing and implementing SOPs, quality systems, operational controls, and performance metrics.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, budgets, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Experience working with contract development and manufacturing organizations is strongly preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-growing and resource-conscious startup environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience launching pharmaceutical products from development through commercialization.




- Experience with small molecules, biologics, vaccines, medical products, or specialty pharmaceuticals.
- Experience supporting FDA submissions, inspections, audits, and regulatory approvals.
- Experience with global supply chains and international regulatory environments.
- Experience improving manufacturing capacity, reducing costs, and increasing operational efficiency.
- Experience supporting fundraising, investor due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, IPO readiness, or public-company compliance.
- Established relationships within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences industries.

Compensation Base Salary: $200,000–$300,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications

Additional Compensation: Performance bonus and potential equity participation
