Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Pizza Maker/Cashier to join our team. This role combines food preparation with customer service, ensuring that our guests receive high-quality pizzas and a welcoming experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to food safety and sanitation standards. This position offers an opportunity to develop restaurant experience in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and assemble pizzas according to company recipes and standards, ensuring quality and consistency

- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling

- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and upsell menu items when appropriate

- Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, providing correct change and receipts

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations

- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service

- Assist in food prep tasks such as chopping ingredients and assembling orders as needed





- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues professionally

Requirements

- Must be 18 years of age or older (required for solo keyholder duties, late-night closing shifts, and unsupervised operation of commercial kitchen machinery).

- Previous experience in food preparation, cashiering, or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided

- Strong understanding of food handling safety and sanitation standards

- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and order calculations

- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours

- Good communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence

- Experience working in a restaurant or food industry environment is advantageous

- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail

- Flexibility to work during peak hours including evenings and weekends as needed

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
