We are currently looking for a hard working and dedicated Plumber/Gas Fitter B/Cross Connection -Maintenance Worker V to fill a position at the Dawson Creek and District Hospital. In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, this position performs skilled plumbing work at the journeyman level in the installation, construction, alteration, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and/or service of plumbing equipment and systems; install, test, maintain and repair natural gas lines, appliances, equipment and accessories; and inspect and test cross connection and backflow prevention systems and medical gas systems, in compliance with applicable codes and regulations. Performs trades duties approaching the journeyman level in one or a variety of trades areas such as electrical and painting in compliances with applicable codes and regulations.

May supervise Maintenance Workers and other designated staff. This position is for the RECENT Dawson Creek Hospital. The successful applicant may be required to provide after hours on call services on rotation.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days - 07:00 to 15:00
