As the Plumbing Fabrication Shop Manager, you will report to the Plumbing Superintendent, overseeing a dedicated team to ensure fabrication efforts support project goals.
The focus will be on safety practices, operational excellence, and continuous improvement strategies that enhance productivity and quality across all operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Direct daily shop operations and workforce management
- Plan and schedule production based on project timelines
- Collaborate with Procurement and Project Management for readiness
- Monitor quality assurance and implement corrective actions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the shop Requirements:
- 5-7 years of construction or fabrication experience
- Red Seal Plumbing Certificate or equivalent degree
- Experience with VDC and project coordination
- In-depth knowledge of fabrication processes and practices
