LeverageTek is actively seeking Product Owner for a 12 month term with its Ottawa-based customer.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and communicate product vision and strategy aligned with organizational goals
- Prioritize product features and enhancements based on business value, risk mitigation, and stakeholder input
- Act as the main liaison between business lines, technology, and other teams
- Gather and clarify requirements from senior stakeholders
- Manage the product backlog and plan sprints with cross-functional teams
- Identify and address risks in product development
- Monitor product performance and provide updates to senior management
- Foster collaboration across finance, legal, IT, and operations
- Lead business transformation and change management initiatives

Key Qualifications

- Business Experience: Minimum 5 years in senior Product Owner/Product Manager roles, with direct accountability for business outcomes
- Strategic Prioritization: Demonstrated experience in prioritizing business deliverables and driving measurable business value
- Stakeholder Management: Proven track record of engaging with senior business leaders and aligning product features with organizational goals
- Risk Assessment & Regulatory Compliance: Deep understanding of financial accounting standards, legal regulations, and risk management in a business context
- Business-Focused Achievements: Candidates must provide specific examples of business impact (e.g., revenue growth, cost reduction, risk mitigation)
- Change Management: Experience leading business transformation initiatives

- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Azure DevOps)
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulatory requirements and standards
- Bilingual in both official languages (French and English)
- Experience in business transformation or change management
