Production Apprentice – Shape the Future of Aerospace & Manufacturing

Why Join Us?

Are you naturally curious, great with your hands, and looking for a real career path?

As a Production Apprentice, you will transform raw blueprints into high-quality precision sheet metal components. If you have a strong mechanical mindset, an eye for detail, and a positive attitude, we will give you the tools and skills to build a lasting career in advanced manufacturing.

What your role will be mainly responsible for:

You won't be stuck doing just one repetitive task. You will collaborate with a skilled team to shape, refine, and perfect metal parts using both advanced machinery and hand tools.

- Operate Specialized Machinery: Learn to master unique sheet metal equipment, including hydroforming and manual forming systems.
- Master the Finish: Perform precision deburring and polishing to ensure every small, high-quality component meets exact standards.
- Read the Blueprint: Interpret technical templates and blueprints to layout proficient sheet metal patterns.
- Assemble with Precision: Align and secure metal parts using specialized construction aids like dowel pins, wedges, jacks, and turnbuckles.
- Stay Adaptable: Jump into miscellaneous tasks across the production floor to help the team succeed.
- Stay Organized: Maintain a clean, safe workstation and keep accurate records for inventory and quality control purposes.
- Safety First: Diligently follow all safety protocols while handling heavy machinery, learning and adhering to workplace health and safety regulations to keep everyone safe.

What You Bring to the Team:

We value a great attitude and a willingness to ask questions. Here is what we need:

- Reliability & Punctuality: Strong professional accountability with a proven track record of excellent daily attendance and arriving on time every day.
- Experience: At least 1 year of relevant hands-on experience in a manufacturing, trade, or mechanical environment.
- Technical Basics: Strong basic math skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to confidently read safety blueprints and manuals.
- Communication: Fluent in English with strong attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills to help address production and quality concerns.
- The Right Mindset: A self-motivated approach, a positive attitude, and the confidence to ask for clarification when you are unsure.
- Physical Capabilities: Comfort working on your feet for 7–8 hours and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Bonus Assets: Prior CNC routing experience is a huge asset! Valid Forklift License and/or First Aid Training certification is considered a major plus
