Project Management and IT Support Specialist
The pan-Canadian Pharmaceutical Alliance (pCPA) brings together provincial, territorial, and federal governments to increase and manage access to clinically relevant and cost‑effective medicines. Through collective negotiations, the pCPA achieved overall savings (as of April 1, 2025) of $3.94 billion annually for brand‑name drugs and $935 million annually for generic drugs, totaling $4.87 billion annually. The pCPA offers a 100 % remote (within Canada) work environment.
About the role
We are seeking a proactive, detail‑oriented Project Management and IT Support specialist with essential IT helpdesk and operations support duties to ensure successful and timely delivery of the organization’s core business goals and priorities. Reporting to the director, Infrastructure and Projects, this role is key to driving project success across departments, supporting operational excellence initiatives, and ensuring smooth, first‑line IT support for our internal teams in a remote environment.
The ideal candidate holds a college diploma or bachelor’s degree in project management, information technology, business administration, or a related field and has 5+ years of relevant experience in project management and IT support roles. Key responsibilities
Project management support
- Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of multiple cross‑departmental projects.
- Maintain and update project trackers, progress reports, risk logs, issue logs, and budget spreadsheets.
- Coordinate and lead project meetings; draft agendas, document detailed meeting minutes, record action items, and ensure follow‑up execution.
