Role Description The Property Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Calgary, AB, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of residential and/or commercial properties. This role includes coordinating maintenance requests, conducting regular property inspections, and ensuring that buildings and grounds are well maintained and compliant with regulations.
The Property
Manager will manage tenant communications, address inquiries and concerns, handle lease administration, and support move-in/move-out processes. They will monitor rent collections, assist with budgeting, and provide accurate reporting to property owners.
The role also involves collaborating with vendors, enforcing property policies, and contributing to strategies that maximize occupancy, tenant satisfaction, and asset performance.
Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in property operations, including maintenance coordination, vendor management, and regular site inspections.
Candidates should possess skills in tenant relations, such as qualified communication, conflict resolution, and customer service.
Candidates should possess skills in lease administration, including lease preparation, documentation management, and understanding of local rental regulations.
Candidates should possess skills in financial management, such as rent collection oversight, basic budgeting, and reporting of property performance.
Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple properties or projects.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and proficiency with property management or office software are beneficial.
Previous experience in property management, real estate, or a related field is preferred.
A relevant diploma or degree in business, real estate, or a related discipline is an asset.
