The Quality Control Analyst position is divided into three distinct areas of responsibility:
Chemistry, Microbiology, Sample Processing Center (CTE)
The employee is responsible for carrying out sampling and analytical activities while respecting established priorities and deadlines. These activities include:
- Preparing samples for analysis and performing analytical techniques using laboratory equipment in accordance with approved methods and specifications.
- Performing analyses within their area of expertise while ensuring a high first-pass success rate and maintaining accurate, thorough documentation.
- Interpreting analytical results by:
- Entering analytical data;
- Applying calculation methods described in procedures;
- Interpreting results;
- Verifying the consistency and accuracy of results.
- Reporting non-conformances and deviations, evaluating them, and proposing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
- Independently performing peer review and verification of all activities within their area.
- Participating in working groups and projects aimed at optimizing analytical methods.
- Carrying out method transfer or method validation assignments with minimal supervision.
- Training current employees on activities within their area of responsibility.
- Providing support to the Quality Control Specialist and the QC Manager during investigations and deviation management.
- Performing any other duties as required by the department.
