- Inspection of in-process and finished products for safety, quality and conformance to government regulations and company specifications.
- Interface with Production Supervisors and Production/QA Coordinator regularly to communicate food safety issues and quality trends.
- Collection of microbiological samples as required (finished product/equipment swab/water samples).
- Evaluation of customer returns for quality and safety standards.
- Investigation of customer / consumer complaints, and response to customer services.
- Monitor pest control service and follow - up with the appropriate departments for correction.
- Monitor that all GMPs are being followed and generate all necessary reports. Record all instances of deviations and corrective actions taken.
- Ensuring the accuracy of all reporting required for both internal and external contacts (e.g.CFIA). Recording all instances of deviations and corrective actions taken.
- Evaluate all trans-ship product.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of products for plant tours as required.
- Calibration of Thermometers and chemicals.
- Timely Follow-up of Corrective Action Plans to determine effectiveness.
- Participate in investigation efforts and assist in communication efforts between functional departments to ensure accountability for non-conformance.
- Prepare production and other reports.
- HACCP co-ordinators identify, evaluate, control and prevent hazards at all stages of the food production process.
Pay: $17.60-$22.00 per hour
