Header Quality Practitioner - Governance and Assurance (Permanent) Victoria, BC Expected Salary $67,021 to $87,965 To determine final salary, Babcock considers a variety of factors including the successful Candidate’s skills and experience and internal equity. The final base salary offer is at the Company’s sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.

Description In this role, you will: Undertake Quality Assurance support activities for the delivery of all sectors of the business, including both customers and suppliers. Support the development of Quality Assurance Plans for projects and bids working individual or through project teams, with emphasis on technical/discipline knowledge

Perform various internal and external (supplier or subcontract) audits as required. Through a combination of job records inspection, analysis, and audit processes, review documentation to ensure full compliance with Babcock Canada’s Quality Assurance requirements. Support the development and release of the new processes, procedures and forms in support of Babcock Canada Business Management System. Maintain and update QA department documents and actively participate in updating/revision process.

Support the transition and standardization of processes

Perform data mining and development of various business dashboards

Other duties as required The ideal candidate brings: A bachelor’s degree in business administration with emphasis on business management. A CQI/IRCA certification in Managing Quality Planning or equivalent

Minimum of 4 years of experience in the development of QA plans for bids and projects. Integrates various inputs, decision criteria, and trade-offs to make effective decisions

Minimum of 4 years of experience in Quality Management System and experience with ISO 9001, 45501, 14001, AS9100 within various Business type sectors such as Marine, Aviation or Land. Qualification and experience as an internal systems auditor

Experience with data analytics tools such as Power-BI and Power-Auto Mate

Detail-oriented, strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem resolution skills. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and an ability to produce quality results in a timely manner. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Experience in administration of business applications
