We are seeking an enthusiastic, service-oriented professional to join The Parkside Hotel & Spa as a Recreation Attendant, with additional Bell Person support responsibilities.

POSITION OVERVIEW The Recreation Attendant plays a key role in enhancing the guest and member experience by maintaining safe, clean, and welcoming facilities. As a valued extension of our Guest Services Team, this role delivers exceptional, attentive customer service while creating positive and authentic experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

- Assists guests and members in a friendly, professional manner.
- Provides information about hotel services, amenities, bike routes, and local attractions.
- Manages member access by punching passes and providing daily access keys.
- Assists with membership signup and the sale of punch passes.
- Frequently inspects the pool area, changerooms, and fitness centre.
- Keeps the fitness centre and pool tidy, organized, and stocked with supplies.
- Monitors pool activity to ensure best practice and adult only times are being upheld.
- Oversees guest experiences during shifts, ensuring smooth setup, guest service, and cleanup.
- Manages guest bicycle rentals, including waivers, inspections, and cleaning.
- Assists guests with luggage upon arrival and departure.
- Delivers luggage, amenities, packages, and requested items to guestrooms.




- Oversees driveway activity, directing guests to keep the roundabout clear and traffic flowing smoothly.
- Keeps the bell storage room tidy and organized for maximum efficiency.
- Liaises with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous customer service experience is required.
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
- Computer literacy a necessity; competency with Opera PMS and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) is preferred.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable team player with a friendly, skilled attitude.
- Passion to deliver outstanding service.
- Must be able to work 10-hour shifts.
- Must be able to perform the physical tasks of the job.
- Available to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
