Job Title : Recruiter (Staffing & HR Services)

Job Type : Full-time, Permanent

Location : Mississauga, Ontario (In office)

Shift : 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Rate : Up to $20/hour (based on experience)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and results-driven Recruiter to join our team, specializing in staffing and HR business services. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in full-cycle recruitment within a fast-paced agency setting.

Responsibilities

- Conduct intake meetings with clients to understand hiring needs and define candidate qualifications
- Post job advertisements across job boards, career pages, and social media platforms
- Source and engage passive candidates through platforms such as Indeed, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Attend and network at job fairs and recruitment events
- Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates
- Conduct phone and video interviews and prepare candidate shortlists for clients
- Provide regular updates to clients on recruitment progress and candidate pipeline
- Prepare candidates for client interviews and ensure a positive candidate experience




- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
- Maintain accurate records of candidate information, including resumes, interview notes, and evaluations

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Recruiter, preferably within a staffing agency environment or similar role
- Strong understanding of full-cycle recruitment processes
- Proficiency with social media platforms and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience using various interview formats, including phone and virtual interviews
- Ability to assess candidates across different roles and seniority levels
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously
- Ability to review candidate resumes and present suitable profiles to clients
