Position Overview
As a Registered Acupuncturist, you will assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide safe, effective acupuncture treatments while educating patients on their health and wellness journey.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and consultations.
- Develop individualized acupuncture treatment plans.
- Provide acupuncture treatments in accordance with professional standards.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Educate patients on lifestyle, nutrition, and wellness strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when appropriate.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment.
- Build and maintain strong patient relationships.
Qualifications
- Registered or eligible for registration as an Acupuncturist in Nova Scotia.
- Graduate of an accredited Acupuncture or Traditional Chinese Medicine program.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
