Registered Physiotherapist

Type of Role: Independent Contractor

Salary/Percentage Range: 60 - 65% depending on experience

We’re a new local clinic looking to build our team with a Registered Physiotherapist. As a Physiotherapist, you tailor and optimize movement, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being of patients. Whether patients are managing a chronic condition, rehabilitating a sports injury, or recovering from a motor vehicle accident, you use evidence-based techniques to empower and educate patients to get back to their optimal health.

How you support your patients:

- Provide quality patient-centered services to promote active rehabilitation to all patients.
- Assess, examine, and treat patients with loss of function from health conditions, injuries, and/or disabilities.
- Examine muscles and joints to evaluate health conditions to provide quality treatments.
- Measure and evaluate physical capabilities and limitations.
- Discuss conditions, treatments, and physiotherapy goals to ensure quality care is provided.
- Provide education on treatments, safe and effective exercises and body movement, injury and condition management, and pain management and prevention to promote living a healthy lifestyle.
- Monitor progress and modify treatments when necessary.
- Provide Dry Needling/Acupuncture under the CPTBC (Certification Required).




- Collaborate with fellow practitioners to ensure full support of patients' health and wellness needs.

Requirements as a Physiotherapist:

- Registered Physiotherapist, in ‘Good Standing’, under the College of Physical Therapists of BC (CPTBC).
- Knowledgeable of and complies with all CPTBC Standards of Practice.
- Current Burnaby business license holder and/or has the ability to apply to obtain one.
- Minimum $3 million professional liability insurance.
- Physical ability to perform duties as required.
- Certified IMS/Dry Needling/Acupuncture under the CPTBC is considered an asset.

- 60 - 65% Competitive Percentage Split | 60 - 65% (depending on your experience) will go directly to you. The remaining will provide you with reception/administration, billing, assistance and support, practitioner marketing and service promotions, in-house laundry services, and PPE.

Job Types: Full time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual Pay: Up to $107.00 per hour
