Job Summary

This is a part-time, on-site position for a Physiotherapist based in Guelph, ON. The role involves conducting patient assessments, delivering personalized treatments, and creating effective exercise programs tailored to individual needs.

Responsibilities also include maintaining detailed patient records and overseeing patient care. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Physicians, Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, Massage Therapists, and others, with a strong emphasis on function-focused, interdisciplinary care. Applicants must be licensed Registered Physiotherapists eligible to practice in Ontario, Canada.

Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and needs.
- Ability to handle EHC, MVA, WSIB and Private patient cases.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient mobility and function.




- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and preventive care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress notes.
- Collaborate and Refer patients to other practitioners in the clinic settings to provide comprehensive care.
- Stay updated on the latest physiotherapy practices and advancements in patient care.

Qualifications

- Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid Registered Physiotherapy license to practice in Ontario.
- Experience in pediatrics or acute care is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to physiotherapy practices.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Pay structure:

Commission pay.

Pay: $50.00-$52.00 per hour
