Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for patients of all ages, with a focus on children and those requiring special education services
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on clinical findings, research, and patient needs
- Deliver individual, group, or family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including medical staff, educators, and social workers to coordinate care
- Collect and analyze data related to patient progress to refine treatment approaches and ensure optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with confidentiality standards
- Participate in ongoing research initiatives to enhance clinical practices and contribute to the advancement of psychological science
Qualifications
- Valid registration as a Psychologist with relevant licensing boards or authorities
- Experience working with children in clinical or educational settings is highly preferred
- Background in hospital environments or healthcare facilities is advantageous
- Robust understanding of medical terminology and healthcare protocols
- Proven ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data related to patient care and progress
- Knowledge of special education needs and strategies for supporting students with diverse learning requirements
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Pay: $110.00-$130.00 per hour
