In this role, you will operate specialized vacuum trucks to transport and dispose of liquid waste, sludge, and other materials safely and efficiently. Duties
- Safely operate vacuum trucks to perform liquid waste removal, sludge pumping, and other related tasks in various locations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure operational safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load, unload, and secure materials using appropriate heavy lifting techniques and equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during operations.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including pickup and disposal logs, route documentation, and incident reports.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate schedules and respond promptly to service requests.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on trucks and report any mechanical issues for timely repairs.
Experience CLASS 5 WITH AIRBRAKES ENDORSEMENT NECESARY . THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HOLDS A CLASS 3 LICENSE OR HIGHER AND HAS DRIVEN A MANUAL TRUCK BEFORE
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory for all roles.
- Prior experience operating heavy-duty trucks or similar vehicles is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions.
- Strong driving skills with a focus on safety, precision, and adherence to traffic laws.
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and teamwork collaboration.
- Willingness to learn safety procedures related to hazardous materials handling and environmental regulations.
