Role Description The Resident Experience Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Moncton, NB. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering daily programs, activities, and events that foster social engagement and enhance residents’ quality of life.
The Coordinator works closely with residents and families to understand preferences, gather feedback, and ensure that activities are inclusive and aligned with individual needs and abilities. Day-to-day tasks include creating activity calendars, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, communicating schedules, and maintaining accurate records of participation and outcomes. The role also involves supporting community traditions, assisting with special events,
and promoting a welcoming, respectful environment for all residents.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in resident services, recreation, hospitality, customer service, or a similar community-focused role.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse residents, families, and colleagues.
- Organizational and time-management skills, including experience coordinating schedules, events, or programs.
- Ability to work on-site full-time, adapt to changing resident needs, and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of senior living, long-term care, or community-based programming is an asset.
- Basic computer skills for managing calendars, documentation, and internal communication tools.
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education in recreation, social services, hospitality, or a related field is considered an advantage.
- Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practices and to supporting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of residents.
