Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Operate POS systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain organized and attractive merchandise displays through effective merchandising techniques
- Provide knowledgeable advice on gardening, horticulture, and landscape maintenance products
- Support inventory management by stocking shelves and conducting regular stock checks
- Assist customers with product inquiries both in-store and via e-commerce platforms
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor to create an inviting shopping environment
- Process sales transactions accurately while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Communicate product features and benefits clearly to diverse customer groups, including multilingual audiences if applicable
Requirements
- Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus
- Knowledge of gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is advantageous
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and merchandising techniques
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service in a quick-paced environment
- Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms is desirable
