Job Title: Retail Store Associate – Grocery/ Convenience Store

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and customer focused Retail Store Associate to join our convenience store team.

The ideal candidate will deliver excellent customer service, maintain store operations, and ensure shelves are fully stocked and organized to provide a seamless shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, assisting with product selection, and resolving inquiries in a professional manner
- Operate the cash register accurately and handle transactions with honesty and integrity
- Stock, replenish, and rotate merchandise to ensure product availability and freshness
- Maintain proper pricing, labeling, and signage for all merchandise
- Ensure shelves are organized, zoned, and fully stocked for daily operations
- Prepare backroom and assist with stock receiving and unloading processes
- Follow procedures for ordering, markdowns, pricing, and inventory control
- Maintain cleanliness and overall store appearance, including aisles and displays
- Adhere to food safety, sanitation,



and company health & safety standards
- Ensure a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support store operations

Qualifications & Skills
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred
- Experience with lottery sales, tobacco handling, and Smart Serve certification is considered an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multitask effectively
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and team oriented
- Ability to lift and move merchandise when required
