We are seeking a motivated and dependable Roofer / General Labour to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems while supporting various general labour tasks on-site. Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using hand tools and power tools
- Support the team in heavy lifting, material handling, and site cleanup to maintain a protected and organized work environment
- Perform caulking and sealing tasks to ensure waterproofing and weatherproofing of roofs
- Use carpentry skills for framing, trimming, or other structural support as needed
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Support handyman tasks around the site, including minor repairs or adjustments as directed by supervisors
Qualifications
- Experience with hand tools, construction work, or roofing preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights safely
- Basic carpentry skills and are advantageous
- Prior handyman or caulking experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively within a team environment
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a protected work site
