Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Sales Lead/Key Holder to join our dynamic retail team! In this pivotal role, you will be the backbone of daily store operations, leading sales initiatives, managing customer interactions, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience. As a key holder, you will also take on responsibilities related to store security, opening and closing procedures, and team supervision.

Duties

- Lead daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately
- Drive sales through active customer engagement, product knowledge sharing, and effective merchandising strategies
- Supervise and motivate team members to meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining high standards of customer service
- Manage cash handling, POS transactions, pricing adjustments, and store inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Oversee merchandising displays, product placement, and purchasing decisions to maximize sales potential
- Conduct staff training sessions on sales techniques, product information, POS systems, and customer service best practices
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster positive shopping experiences
- Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates and onboarding new team members
- Maintain store security by adhering to safety protocols, monitoring surveillance systems,



and controlling access as a key holder
- Assist with administrative tasks such as bookkeeping, payroll processing, budgeting support, and record keeping

Requirements

- Proven supervising or team management experience in retail sales or related fields
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for serving a broad customer base
- Demonstrated proficiency in POS systems, cashiering, merchandising, pricing strategies, and store management software
- Experience with recruiting, training & development programs, payroll processing, and budgeting processes
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail in cash handling and bookkeeping tasks
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of customer service
- Robust negotiation skills coupled with effective phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of marketing principles and retail management best practices is preferred
- Must be able to stand for extended periods; physical ability to lift merchandise as needed
