The Sales Manager’s primary role is to support the Sales Team throughout the vehicle purchase process while ensuring exceptional customer relations and a positive buying experience. This includes ensuring the steps of the sale are followed consistently, from the initial customer interaction through negotiations, vehicle delivery, Business Office turnover, completion of paperwork, and final deal processing.

Key Responsibilities

- Support Sales Consultants with daily deal management and the sales process.
- Manage the complete sales process, including negotiations, paperwork, deliveries, and Business Office coordination.




- Maximize sales volume and profitability through effective deal management.
- Assist with trade-in appraisals in partnership with the Used Car Manager.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Manage lead follow-up and equity mining opportunities.
- Ensure Sales Consultants follow Sales-to-Service and Service-to-Sales processes.

Qualifications & Skills

- Minimum 5 years of automotive sales management experience.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate high-performing sales teams.
- Strong knowledge of dealership operations, inventory management, and vehicle merchandising.
- Experience with CRM systems (Quorum experience considered an asset).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills.
- Strong analytical and financial management abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
- Current OMVIC registration (or eligibility to obtain registration).
