About the Prospect

Our client is seeking a SCCM & Application Packaging Specialist to support endpoint management operations within a large enterprise environment.

This role is focused on software packaging, software distribution, SCCM administration, patch management, and deployment support . The successful consultant will be responsible for ensuring reliable application delivery, maintaining deployment standards, and supporting enterprise workstation management activities.

This is a hands-on operational position best suited for an experienced SCCM administrator who enjoys working directly with deployments, packaging, troubleshooting, and endpoint operation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer and maintain Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM / MECM).
- Create, test, deploy, and maintain application packages.
- Manage software distribution activities across enterprise environments.
- Support application deployment life-cycle activities.
- Participate in patch management and software update deployments.
- Troubleshoot packaging, deployment, and software installation issues.
- Monitor deployment success rates and resolve distribution failures.
- Support operating system deployment initiatives when required.
- Develop and maintain deployment documentation and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and support teams to ensure successful software delivery.
- Assist with endpoint administration and workstation management activities.
- Support continuous improvement of deployment and distribution processes.

Required Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in SCCM administration, endpoint management, desktop engineering,



or systems administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SCCM / MECM.
- Proven experience in application packaging and software distribution.
- Experience managing software deployments within enterprise environments.
- Solid understanding of Windows Enterprise operating systems.
- Experience with Patch Management and Software Update deployments.
- Good PowerShell scripting skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Professional English communication skills (spoken and written) are mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with Microsoft Intune.
- Experience with Windows Autopilot.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
- Experience working in large enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with software deployment automation.
- Microsoft Endpoint Administrator certification is considered an asset.

Ideal Candidate: We are looking for an intermediate-to-senior SCCM specialist who can quickly become productive in a complex enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with:

- SCCM administration
- Application packaging
- Software distribution
- Patch management
- PowerShell
- Windows endpoint management

This role is not an architecture position and does not include ownership of endpoint strategy, platform design, or enterprise architecture initiatives. We are looking for a hands-on technical specialist who can independently manage packaging and deployment activities while contributing to day-to-day endpoint operations.
