We are looking for a result-driven retail Sales Associate to be responsible for all sales job duties, from generating leads to closing sales. This position is a seasonal full-time or part-time employee that could potentially turn into a permanent position with us depending on work ethic, professionalism, and sales performance. We are looking for a super enthusiastic individual who is excited to come to work every day and have fun styling clients and creating social media content throughout the day.

You should also be able to promptly resolve customer issues and ensure maximum client satisfaction. Ultimately, the duties of a sales associate are to achieve excellent customer service, while consistently meeting the store’s sales goals. When you are not helping customers, this is a great time to focus on social media.

Instagram stories, posts and a TikTok video is a daily requirement in this business. You must have extensive knowledge of this to apply for this position.





Responsibilities

- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Assess customer's needs and provide assistance and information on product features
- Welcome customers to the store and answer their inquiries
- Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas
- Must be comfortable cleaning the washroom and taking out the garbage at the end of each day
- Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
- Process POS (point of sale) purchases
- Cross-sell products
- Handle returns of merchandise
- Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service
- Build productive trust relationships with customers
- Comply with inventory control procedures
- Suggest ways to improve sales (e.g. planning marketing activities, changing the store’s design)

Requirements

- Proven work experience in the sales and/or social media marketing industry.
- Fluent in English & Hindi/Punjabi
- Must know how to calculate discount percentages and also taxes on top of prices
- Hands-on experience with POS transactions
- Familiarity with inventory procedures
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- A friendly and energetic personality with a customer service focus
- Ability to perform under pressure and problem solve in a timely manner
- Must be available from 12 pm to 6 pm for a minimum of 4 days a week to apply for this position.
- Must be available to work every Saturday & Sunday for July & August 2022.

Pay: $18.25-$19.00 per hour
