The Data and AI Platform team at Rivian supports developing and deploying Generative AI systems. We operate highly scalable infrastructure for serving and orchestrating LLMs, Vector Stores, and agents. As a senior full-stack engineer, we want you to join our diverse, talented, and cooperative group, building large-scale client-side applications using modern front-end frameworks and micro-services.

Create and maintain client-side applications along the customer and vehicle journey for efficiently scheduling, processing, and delivering vehicles.

Collaborate with our Machine Learning engineers, product, and cross-functional teams to bring magical customer experiences through large language models.

Responsible for developing the user experience of Generative AI solutions for our commercial partners and customers by understanding their workflows deeply, writing integrations, and curating data and evaluations.

Consistently write valuable tests for all code developed, ensuring a high-quality bar is maintained.

Help define the architectural vision of the team.

5+ years of relevant industry experience working on large-scale, enterprise-grade web applications.

Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Webpack, Jest, and micro-frontend architectures.

Experience with React Native and GraphQL, or a willingness to learn.

Knowledge and understanding of Web accessibility principles, caching, security, and privacy.

A Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cross-browser compatibility issues.





Experience working with AWS and container microservices architectures is a plus.

Dedicated to unit, integration testing, and coverage – comfortable using tools of the trade on profiling and source control.

Experience in Python or Golang.

Salary Range/Hourly Rate for British Columbia Based Applicants: 108,200.00 CAD - 135,300.00 CAD (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
