This Senior Financial Analyst role will be supporting the Cigna Canada and all its subsidiaries’ companies in Canada. The role will provide value-added, in-depth financial analytics for Management and supporting finance functions.

Responsibilities - Prepare monthly reporting packages for financial review discussions and regulatory filings.

- Prepare annual financial statements with notes.
- Conduct data mining to assist in preparing a comprehensive financial overview.
- Provide value-added financial analysis and financial result dashboards.
- Research, monitor and analyze all regulatory, accounting and tax standards.
- Research and report on industry data analysis to management.
- Assist with maintaining supplementary lead schedules.
- Assist with the preparation of plan and forecast.
- Assist in the facilitation of audits with external auditors.
- Assist in maintenance of accounting policies and procedure documentation.




- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Assist in finance projects and initiatives as needed.
- Perform other ad‑hoc tasks as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications and Skills - Bachelor’s degree and a recognized Canadian qualified accounting designation (CPA) is required.

- Proficiency in report writing and presenting findings (e.g. PowerPoint Presentation).
- Ability to analyze and interpret statistical and financial information.
- 3+ years of progressive work experience with an audit background.
