We are recruiting on behalf of a prominent Canadian-owned organization known for its stability, strong leadership, and longstanding commitment to its people.

The organization is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate Services to support its finance operations team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a CPA professional transitioning from public accounting or currently working in industry to support treasury, cash management, and corporate reporting functions across the organization.

This newly created position supports SG&A;, distribution centre operations, and corporate functions, including Human Resources, Sales, and Marketing.

Key Responsibilities and Oversight:

- Support treasury, cash management, and financial reporting activities.
- Assist with SG&A; and distribution centre operational accounting.
- Manage planning, process automation, and intercompany financial operations.
- Develop and enhance process controls, as well as oversee legal contract and agreement administration.
- Collaborate across corporate functions to improve standards, processes, and operational efficiencies.
- Provide accounting support for payroll, tax, and banking activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and remittances.
- Contribute to ongoing projects and process improvement initiatives, with the potential to expand into broader operational support.
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and provide ongoing support across the organization.

The Successful Candidate Will Possess the Following:

- CPA designation or CPA in progress, with experience in corporate accounting, treasury, and operational finance.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while supporting multiple business functions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong cultural fit being essential.
- Robust analytical capabilities combined with exceptional attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement process improvements and internal controls.
- Proficiency in financial reporting and internal controls, with the adaptability to succeed in a rapidly evolving environment.
