Role Description This is a full time, on-site Carpenter role located in Edmonton, AB. The Carpenter will perform drywalling, rough carpentry, and finish carpentry for residential and commercial projects, ensuring work meets safety, quality, and building code standards. Day-to-day tasks include measuring, cutting, and assembling materials, installing doors, trim, and cabinetry, and using hand and power tools to complete structural and finishing work. The role involves reading and interpreting blueprints, collaborating with site supervisors and other trades, and maintaining a clean,



organized work area. The Carpenter will also assist with renovations, repairs, and property maintenance as required to support project timelines and client expectations.

Qualifications

- Strong carpentry skills with experience in residential and/or commercial construction.
- Proficiency using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Experience with drywalling, mudding and taping, painting, texturing (asset).
- Competence in finish carpentry, including trim, doors, cabinetry, and other detailed woodwork.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
- Good physical stamina, manual dexterity, and ability to work in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience as a Carpenter; trade certification or apprenticeship completion is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in and around Edmonton, AB.

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
