We are hiring part-time Taxi Drivers in Brandon, Manitoba. We are looking for dependable drivers who are available to work night shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Applicants must be able to consistently work scheduled weekend night shifts. We are hiring multiple drivers and can offer approximately 12 to 36 hours per week, depending on availability and company needs.
Shift Availability
Applicants must be available for a combination of:
- Friday night shifts
- Saturday night shifts
- Sunday night shifts
- Overnight shifts
Exact schedules and hours will vary.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport customers to and from their destinations
- Provide professional and respectful customer service
- Use smartphone-based dispatch systems and taxi apps
- Follow all traffic laws and company procedures
- Keep the vehicle clean, presentable, and in proper working condition
- Ensure safe and comfortable transportation for all passengers
Requirements and Licensing
- Regular Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night availability
- Ability to consistently work scheduled weekend shifts
- Valid Manitoba Class 4 Driver’s Licence
- City of Brandon Taxi Driver’s Permit
The City of Brandon Taxi Driver’s Permit is not required when applying, but it must be obtained before operating a taxi.
To obtain the permit, the City requires:
- A clean Driver’s Abstract
- A Criminal Record Check
We assist hired drivers with the permit application process, including providing the required company documentation and signatures.
Applicants must also have:
- A clean driving record and safe driving habits
- The ability to use smartphones and taxi dispatch apps
- Solid customer service skills
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- A professional attitude
- The ability to keep the assigned vehicle clean and presentable
Estimated earnings may range from approximately $600 to $5,400 per month, depending on hours worked, customer demand, and driver availability.
Pay: $1,000.00-$4,000.00 per month
