The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Screener Operator to join our operations team in Sudbury, Ontario. In this role, you will safely operate and maintain crushing and screening equipment while supporting daily production, completing inspections, and maintaining a safe and organized work setting. This position involves physically demanding outdoor work, occasional travel to job sites, and collaboration with a skilled team to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

Your Day-to-Day.

- Safely operate and maintain crushing and screening plants, stackers, loaders, and other production equipment
- Complete daily inspections and pre-ops of equipment
- Management and reporting of inventory and production
- Identify, report and correct hazards
- Perform physically demanding work including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, crouching, climbing, crawling, repetitive reaching, and extended periods of standing throughout the workday
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including inclement weather
- Work evenings, weekends,



and extended hours as required to meet operational and project demands
- Travel to job sites including occasional out-of-town assignments with overnight stays
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Work in accordance with all internal, client and regulated health and safety policies, procedures and/or regulations, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Perform related duties as assigned by the Supervisor

You Are a Good Fit If You Have

Required:

- Valid G class driver’s license
- Experience in crushing and screening operations

Considered an Asset:

- Highschool Diploma or equivalent
- Surface Miner Common Core

Skills & Abilities:

- Successfully passed comprehensive pre-employment third party testing requirements (drug and alcohol testing and a Criminal Background Check (CPIC) and any other requirements they impose on contractors)
- Familiar with aspects of operation and maintenance of crushing equipment
- Ability to perform physically intensive and strenuous tasks
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills with supervisors, coworkers, and clients
- Ability to adapt to changing job requirements and schedules
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic
