Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the Business Development Representative is responsible for generating new leads for Irwin's core field safety services offerings to our targeted customer demographic. The Business Development Representative's duties entail:

- Making cold calls to prospective Leads
- Developing and executing email outreach campaigns
- Reaching out to prospective Leads through Linkedin
- Travelling to prospective Leads' offices and sites throughout BC and AB for meetings
- Working within Irwin's Safety's CRM framework and leveraging technology to drive high-volume effective outreach activities
- Qualifying prospective Leads and generating meetings between the qualified Lead and the Irwin's Account Executive

The Business Development Representative must hold the following competencies:

- Robust experience working with CRM systems




- Experience specifically working with Hubspot CRM is an asset
- Proficient with Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Excel, LinkedIn
- Demonstrable sales fundamentals: active listening, qualifying questions, understanding customers wants/needs, translating features in to advantages, concise communication skills
- Must be comfortable with cold calling
- Must be self starter

Additional Details regarding this position:

- This is a work-from-home position
- The compensation is heavily weighted by commissions earned
- The business development representative's success will be determined by the number of qualified Leads generated

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
