We are a new home builder recently completed 10 residential units that require some handyman work. Furthermore handyman work required at our head office.

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team part-time with room to grow. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of repair and maintenance skills, with the ability to tackle various tasks around residential and commercial properties. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. As a Handy Man, you will play an essential role in ensuring that facilities are well-maintained and functional.

Responsibilities

- Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, fixtures, and equipment
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify issues
- Handle plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and installing fixtures
- Execute electrical repairs including replacing outlets, switches, and light fixtures
- Assemble furniture and equipment as needed
- Experience with installing quarteround, trim, caulking, drilling, and framing. Experience with mudding, tapping, and sanding drywall.
- Paint walls, doors,



and other surfaces to maintain aesthetic appeal
- Respond promptly to service requests from management
- Bring own tools as needed, maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing tasks

Skills

- Proficient in basic plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general maintenance
- Robust problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members
- Attention to detail with a focus on delivering quality results
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites. Having your own vehcile is a bonus.
