Interlake School Division invites applications for Educational Assistant positions for the 2026 2027 school year.

Working under the direction of the School Principal, the Educational Assistant will supplement the regular instructional programs for students, by assisting students in their intellectual, social and emotional development.

Qualifications:

- Completion of a High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) Diploma.
- Enjoy working with children and have a basic understanding of their needs.
- Well developed numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to contribute as a team member & willingness to accept guidance and supervision from skilled staff.
- A sense of discretion that respects the privacy and integrity of those with whom he/she is associated.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Be a positive influence on the team atmosphere.
- Related course work such as the Educational Assistant Program Diploma (University of Winnipeg) or the Child Care Services Diploma (Red River College Polytechnic)

Start Date: September 8, 2026

Hourly Rate: $18.51 - $24.94 / hr
