Job Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Industrial Counter Sales Associate to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional service to clients, managing inventory, and supporting procurement and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with ERP systems, and a background industrial sales, fasteners, consumables, safety supplies or manufacturing environments. This position offers an engaging work environment where your expertise in sourcing, negotiation, and data entry will directly contribute to our operational success.

Responsibilities

- Assist customers in selecting industrial parts and supplies, providing technical guidance as needed
- Manage counter sales transactions efficiently using ERP systems and other software tools
- Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry and stock management
- Support procurement activities, including sourcing parts and negotiating with suppliers
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure timely availability of products
- Operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment safely when necessary for inventory movement
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and building strong client relationships

Qualifications

- Proven experience in sales,



supply chain management, or manufacturing environments preferred
- Solid mechanical knowledge related to industrial equipment
- Familiarity with ERP systems, CMMS, and demand planning software required
- Experience with data entry, procurement, sourcing, and negotiation skills essential
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
